Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our team in Elkridge, Maryland. The Quality Engineer collaborates with Engineering and Manufacturing functions toensure quality standards are in place. Performs oversite and monitoring of site risks and opportunities.
Assists in the performance of independent quality reviews toensure compliance with standards and requirements.
Designs and analyzes inspection and test procedures,mechanisms and equipment; performs analysis to assess the cost of andresponsibility for products, materials, or processes that do not meet therequired standards and specifications.
Audit quality systems for deficiency identification andcorrection assuring process and product quality. Ensures that correctivemeasures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation iscompliant with the requirements.
May have experience and/or be certified in implementing leanand six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
