Description
This junior level position is non-supervisory and will support the F-35 CNI Repairs Program in Rancho Carmel, CA. When hired, the individual will report to the F-35 CNI Repairs Program Manager, and will be responsible for the following job duties:
* Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
* Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
* Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
* Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's and 3 years of relevant experience, or 7 yrs relevant experience with a H.S. Diploma/GED
* Must have a broad understanding of project management including contract management and financial management
* Must have a broad understanding of manufacturing and test processes for electronic equipment from receiving through inspections, manufacturing, test, shipping and billing
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Computer skills including Microsoft office tools and SAP
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SAR Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Project Management
* Experience in Supply Chain management
* Experience working with customers and suppliers
* Experience coordinating in a matrix and multi-disciplinary environment
* Analytical ability to review data for trends and opportunities for process improvement
* Knowledge of manufacturing work flow and MRP systems
* A balanced understanding of the engineering and manufacturing processes
* Experience in electronics manufacturing and production control is a plus
