Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Web Application Developer -or- Principal Web Application Developer to join our dynamic and diverse team environment in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The Web Application Developer will design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement code for complex database driven web applications in support of the US Army Intelligence Center in Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
- Interacting with other team members in support of developing the site concept, graphics, color schemes, interface design, and architecture of assigned websites.
- Designing web application layouts and templates in ASP.NET, C, with Model-View-Controller (MVC) web applications at customer requirements.
- Designing and managing custom databases, including custom stored procedures.
- Being involved in the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including software design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Researching and evaluating new related technologies both independently and as assigned.
- Telework will be possible until Covid relents, then on site attendance will be mandatory.

Basic Qualifications for a Web Application Developer:
Must have one of the following:
* a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of web design, or web development experience
* a Associate degree with a minimum of 4 years of web design, or web development, experience
* a Bachelor rsquo;s degree with a minimum of 2 years of web design, or web development, experience
* a Master rsquo;s degree
- A minimum of 2 years rsquo; experience working with Microsoft .NET framework, ASP.NET and C or other Object Oriented Programming (OOP) languages
- Must have a valid CompTIA Security+ CE certification (IAT II or higher)
- Database experience (preferably MS SQL)
- Must have a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Interim SECRET security clearance (or higher) to start
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing web application interfaces, graphics design or other design work.
- Experience with jQuery and AJAX.
- Experience using MVC, RAZOR, and/or Entity Framework preferred.
