Our San Diego, CA location is seeking an Inventory Control Support 2 to join our team.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities include managing materials and commodities from receipt of goods to issuing to the end user, including inventory control, kitting and shipping where required.
Qualification
Requirements amp; Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent GED (education will be verified)
* 1-3 years of experience in Shipping, Receiving or Inventory Control.
* Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks, be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer the correct information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database.
* Ability to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers.
* Is familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
* Perform physical requirements of the position: using pallet jack or other equipment to move parts weighing up to 50 lbs, as required.
* Detect stock shortage by maintaining accurate inventory.
* Perform physical count of inventory and perform reconciliation with actual available stock.
* Identify and distribute stock to appropriate locations within and out of the company premises.
* Maintain stock rotation and ensure disposing off of any outdated or expired stock.
* Valid California Driver rsquo;s License with a clean driving record.
* Forklift operation (Forklift license or other heavy operating equipment licenses a plus).
