Space Systems Sector is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Model Based Systems Engineer located in Huntsville, AL to support the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program.

Your responsibilities Include:
Implementing and managing system architecture in the Model Based System Engineering environment
Supporting system design, data analyses, interface verification, testing, and failure/anomaly resolution
Attending and preparing materials for presentation during Program Reviews such as Critical Design Review and System Verification Review
Supporting trade studies, system sensitivity studies, design optimization studies, system performance assessments, system design assessments, Operations Analysis work such as mission analysis and timelines and concept of operations development
Assisting Subject Matter Experts in automating and publishing their models onto the Digital Thread
Integrating analytic models with descriptive architecture models
Executing multi-disciplinary analyses and trade studies to support system design and verification activities
Training engineers in multi-disciplinary analysis and optimization tools and processes
'Basic Qualifications:
This position may be filled at either a Principal or Sr Principal Model Based Systems Engineer level.
Principal Model Based Systems Engineer: 5 years with Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
Sr Principal Model Based Systems Engineer: 9 years with Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
U.S. Citizenship is required
Current, active Secret security clearance.
Previous Model-Based Systems Engineering experience
Familiarity with modeling tools (e.g. MATLAB, Python, NASTRAN, ANSYS, Cameo)
Must be able to travel (approximately 10%)

Preferred Qualifications:
7 or more years of missile systems or space launch systems engineering experience
Familiarity with Agile processes and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
SYSML and DODAF experience
SIPRNet experience
GMD or other missile defense experience
Previous experience working with a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) customer
Experience in systems engineering, requirements, and product development processes and application to complex weapon or space systems
Prior experience with Multi-Disciplinary Analysis and Optimization methods (e.g. model integration, Designs of Experiments, Variable Sensitivity Analysis, Engineering Optimization)
