Repair and Maintenance Project Leader

Position Overview

Navistar International Corporation is a leading North American truck manufacturer with great products, a strong market positions and best-in-class distribution networks.

We are currently seeking a Project Leader - Total Cost of Ownership to join our Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Team at our headquarters in Lisle, IL.

This role is responsible for leading key strategic initiatives within the Repair and Maintenance workstream for the Total Cost of Ownership Team. These key projects will evolve with the role, but currently consist of: published maintenance, Intelligent Fleet Care (Maintenance), technology and innovation projects.

The main purpose of the Repair and Maintenance project leader role is to work cross functionally within the organization along with suppliers and other partners to achieve project targets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Will lead complex, repair and maintenance projects across platforms with a strategic focus to reduce CPM (cost-per-mile) for customers.

* Lead key strategic initiatives within the workstream

* Work cross-functionally with engineering, service, purchasing, parts and marketing among other groups.

* Track maintenance/repair costs, analyze customer and competitive data to better understand Navistar's market position.

* Find appropriate solutions to optimize TCO for customers.

* Work with diverse teams, including customers to design and deploy digital products, customer tools and OCC technology specifically for TCO.

Basic Requirements

* Bachelor's degree
* At least 12 years of project/program management experience
* At least 2 years of lead experience

OR

* Master's degree
* At least 8 years of project/program management experience
* At least 2 years of lead experience

OR

* At least 14 years of project/program management experience
* At least 2 years of lead experience

Additional Requirements

* Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
