JACOBS is seeking an Asset Auditor in Reston, VA. Duties will include:

* Plans,directs, and coordinates computer-related activities including electronic dataprocessing, information systems, and systems analysis
* Creates,updates, and modifies asset records according to the sponsors regulations/SOP
* This position works within the Inventory Management occupational specialty withofficers generally located in various locations in the Washington MetropolitanArea (WMA)
* Work under direct supervision by a firstline contractor supervisor and have no supervisory authority
* Responsible for assisting in documenting, logging, issuance, inventory andadjustment of accountable property and customer identified controlled property
* Provide property control and inventorymanagement services to customers in the WMA and Outside Continental UnitedStates (OCONUS)
* Processes routine inventory requests byvalidating receipt of goods and materials against requirements
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
* Active TS/SCI with polygraph required
* High school diploma required
* Requires a minimum of three full years of experience specific to the skill and must be reflected
* Must be able to interface with individuals atall levels of the organization both verbally and in writing
* Proficiency in the use of MS Office productsuite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
* Ability to become familiar with regulations,policies and unique authorities
* Basic knowledge of procedures and policiesspecific to the area of assignment
* Basic knowledge of various databases andapplications
* Ability to develop an internal network ofprofessional working relationships within the work unit and with servicepartners counterparts in other offices
* Ability to interact with customers effectivelyin resolving routine problems
* Ability to adapt to changing work requirementsand priorities
* Ability to use good judgment and personalinitiative in recognizing appropriate action to be taken for completion oftasks
* Ability to demonstrate a high level of servicedelivery
* Ability to interact with people who havedifferent values, cultures, or backgrounds
* Knowledge of principles and processes forproviding customer and personal services. This includes customer needsassessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customersatisfaction

* Proficient in many facets of informationtechnology requirements

* The candidate should possess general businessknowledge and soft-skills allowing them to be adaptable in a wide array of workenvironments. The candidate should have the willingness to participate in thesetype of activities when called upon to do so

Essential Job Description Functions

Work Environment:

General Office environment.The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadlinepressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork andcooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across theCompany and Customers.

Physical Requirements:

Most work will be done at a desk or computer.

Equipment and Machines:

General office equipmentincluding PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, HandheldScanner, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Customer applications: Word,Excel, Access, Internet, various internal databases to request and track data.

Attendance:

Must be able to maintain regular, reliableattendance and ensure on time daily arrival. Attendance is critical at alltimes. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday throughFriday. However, times and days may vary depending on businessrequirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks andbe available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situationoccur.

Other Essential Functions:

Must be able to communicateeffectively both verbally and in writing

Grooming and dress must beappropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to theemployee or others. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhancesproductivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.

Mustbe well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple taskssimultaneously. Must work well under pressure to meet deadlinerequirements. Must take and pass a drug test and backgroundcheck as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be willing to travel asneeded.
