Job Description
Overview
Manages a complex portfolio of projects for the Population Health team by partnering with ambulatory care management and system stakeholders on wide portfolios of care management programs. The project manager ensures projects are managed appropriately, utilizing standard project management methodologies, processes, tools, and resource planning. The PM develops project plans based on customer specifications that result in optimized performance, cost savings, efficiency and overall return on investments. The PM will work closely with team members and external partners to develop solutions with sound methodologies, guidelines, and best practices; make decisions and solve problems within the project plan parameters; recognize patters, time sequences, events, or underlying issues in complex relationships. Manage projects and initiative budgets, and consistently applies principles or core business functions (finance, marketing, economics, sales, technology, and business systems) to make sounds judgments.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Partner with ambulatory care management and system stakeholders on wide portfolio of care management programs, document best practices and workflows, and work with team to maintain standard reporting suite.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
Requires Bachelors degree in a business-related field or equivalent years of experience.
3-5 years of relevant Project Management experience required.
PMP certification preferred.
Healthcare Industry experience a plus.
Experience working in a complex, matrix environment.
Experience working with population health care management preferred, but not required.
