Job description
Qualified Pharmacy Technicians or Field Service Technicians will be tasked with safely and efficiently uninstalling system hardware and installing requested computer systems and hard drives on a medical dispensing machine. This role is an ongoing contract role with national and regional travel to support accounts requiring field visits. Any work that is completed must also be appropriately documented and reported.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the installation and implementation of drug dispensing machines in the acute care setting
* Troubleshoots any on-site issues to ensure that medications are able to be accessed quickly and efficiently
* Collect data bases from various Instruments using proprietary gateway solutions and run the data in a tool that will then compile the information for group consumption
* Assist with administrative tasks to help coordinate logistics to support any mitigation plans.
* Collect, record, and report data to assist with presenting results and findings to team members

Preferred Qualifications:
* Biomedical Technician Degree Preferred
* Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
* Leadership experience preferred
* Hospital experience preferred
* Drug dispensing experience preferred
Job Requirements:
* Hospital or Industry Experience as Pharmacy Technician or Field Service Technician
* Four or more years in healthcare environment with technical (systems) involvement or six or more years with other computerized system applications
* Ability to travel 100%
* Must have proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office package).
* Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices
* Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices
* Possess strong time management skills and the ability to work under a deadline
* Ability to work in a group setting and possess strong professional acumen
* Must have effective communication and customer service skills including technical writing and the ability to manage complex technical conversations via telephone.
