Leads and manages a senior team that develops pre-silicon functional validation infrastructure, tests and environment to verify server SOCs.

Key responsibilities of the role include, although not limited to:

* Meet design requirements, define model strategies, create test plans for RTL validation and bring-up.
* Run system simulation models, profile all models for efficiency and quality, scale across variants seamlessly and will implement corrective measures for failing RTL tests.

This is a leadership position and the candidate will serve as a bridge between logic design, functional, DFX, HVM and other teams, ensuring a quality handoff of pre-silicon models to all consumers.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 10+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 7+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 1+ years of experience in:

* Verifying complex designs both at the component and full-chip level
* Architecting and developing test benches and verification components like bus functional models and scoreboards/checkers
* System Verilog based OVM / UVM, VMM or related object oriented, and coverage driven ASIC verification methodology
* Experience in leading validation/logic teams from concept to delivery including all aspects of validation infrastructure, collateral and quality checks.
* Have an eye for spotting inefficiencies and collaborate with cross-functional-teams to ensure all consumer teams are suffuse with what they need at the right time.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Verifying complex designs both at the component and full-chip level
* Software development and scripting
* BFM development for complex IPs
* experience leading small to medium sized teams from concept to Tape-Ti
