Leads definition of highly-integrated client SoC architectures.

Determine, specify, and evaluate the trade-offs of complex hardware functions. Ensures that software and hardware interface correctly. Decides certain IP selection and configuration. Works with the QRE team to define requirements for the SoC. Has a good experience and understanding of RTL design through silicon bring upflows. Authors hardware architecture specifications and facilitates correct implementation by engineering teams. Exercises broad influence over future products by contributing to the architecture used across design families.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

* Computer system and silicon architecture knowledge in areas such as performance, power management, security, interconnect, microprocessors, graphics, machine learning, memory systems, and I/O controllers

* Fluent ability to communicate and solve problems at the levels of the system, software, firmware, silicon architecture, micro-architecture, verification/validation, and manufacturing

* Performance, power, and use case modeling expertise

* Exceptional leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Electric Engineering /Computer Science or related field

8+ years of experience in diverse architecture, design, and verification experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of working with the external eco system IPs'
