Intel's Design Enablement (DE) within the Technology and Manufacturing Group (TMG) is looking for: Senior Runsets QA Development Engineer to work on the quality assurance of design rule check and density fill solutions for internal and external customers.

In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Development of QA infrastructure and test pattern generation to ensure the quality of the runsets.
* Identify and drive performance improvements and code optimization for runsets and perform regressions to study performance and memory utilization.
* Engage with process technology engineers to evaluate and provide feedback on impact of rule description on the quality of the runsets.
* Support and Debug of internal and external customer runset issues.
* Write automation scripts to enable data mining, higher degree of automation and improve execution

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience in Physical Runset Development/Support with exposure to VLSI design and execution.

Additional qualifications include:

* Demonstrate experience in DRC/LVS runsets and algorithm development. Specific experience with Synopsys ICV and/or Mentor Calibre is a plus.
* Demonstrate experience layout and/or schematic entry using Cadence Virtuoso and/or Synopsys Custom Designer.
* Demonstrate experience in semiconductor device physics, models and technology scaling.
* Demonstrate experience and expertise with industry standard CAD tools/flows for digital and/or analog design.
* Demonstrate experience with software development/programming in high-level languages (e.g. Python, TCL, Perl) and CAD tool scripting languages (e.g. Cadence SKILL).
* Demonstrate experience working on with UNIX/Linux platforms.
