As an Engineering Intern supporting the Intel Programmable Solutions Group Field Programmable Gate Array Academic program you will:
* Support data mining of information collected through Salesforce and other Academic tools, by creating scripting filters and data manipulation.
* Support new Website designs and create new look and feel for our Academic Program Website.
* Create bash scripts to monitor our FPGA cloud utilization and performance stats.
* GitHub projects to improve user instructions on FPGA utilization and FPGA Cloud use.
* Work on FPGA remote education program, improving existing framework using Quartus tools.
* May also interact with University professors on FPGA Cloud or remote education engagements, providing technical support
As a member of Intel Programmable Solutions group Academic Program team, you will have an opportunity to learn more about Intel FPGAs while working to improve our Academic presence. This position has a broad exposure to not only technical areas but marketing and program management providing for a diverse experience.

To start in February 2021 part-time moving to full-time in summer/June timeframe. Preferable 9-12 months internship however there is flexibility in the term.
Qualifications
You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Requirements:
The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 months experience in:
* Programming in C/C++ and/or Python.
* Website design.
* Data Base experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* FPGA using Verilog and/or VHDL.
* Linux scripting.
