Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be considered for this position. The preferred qualifications are considered when identifying top candidates. Experience may be obtained through industry experience or educational coursework.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or another related field
- A background in mathematics and statistics
- An understanding of computational / algorithmic complexity (e.g. Big O)
- 1+ year experience in machine learning and training deep neural networks
- Background in several applications of deep learning such as object recognition, object detection, semantic segmentation, natural language processing, etc.
- 1+ year experience in algorithmic implementation using a high-level, modern programming language such as C++ or Python.
- Software development expertise with a demonstrated ability to write efficient, readable and well-commented code.
- A basic understanding of distributed processing / computing.
- A basic understanding of hardware architectures (e.g. processor-to-memory communication, memory models, processing bottlenecks, etc.).
- A basic understanding of numerical quantization such as fixed-point and reduced bit-width floating-point representation of numerical values.

Preferred Qualifications
- Working toward PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or another related field.
- Accepted publications in relevant conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ICML, ICLR, etc.
- Granted patents in either US or international patent offices.
