This position is associated with the sale of Intels NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix (You can read more about the transaction in the press release - https://newsroom.intel.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2020/10/nand-memory-news-q-a.pdf). The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.

This is an exciting time to be at Intel come join our Data Center NAND Division as a Validation Lead and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As a Validation Lead, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.

Candidates being hired for Phase 1

This position aligns to Phase 1 of the transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Phase 1 is expected to close in late 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

* Leads a matrixed, cross organizational team that are directly tied to quality assurance for products and external customers including: developing a high quality, efficient validation plan, creating/tracking/adjusting the validation schedule and budget, and reporting validation results.
* Responsible for program quality decisions that have a long lasting impact on the business, reputation, posture or image of the business unity through all phases of the product lifecycle.
* Is the One Voice key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally and externally.
* Exercises judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches to ensure the highest quality deliverables to internal stakeholders and end customers.
* Is laser focused on providing product health data and expert opinion to product decision makers.
* Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals.
* Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met.
* Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate.
* Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions.
* Has an understanding of the technical concepts, systems, validation methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program, and utilizes knowledge to accelerate project completion.

The selected candidate will demonstrate passion for the role and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Education

The candidate must have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field

Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of experience in the following areas:

* Hardware and Software product development.
* Product Validation.
* Technical product development, engineering management, and customer enablement.

Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of experience in the following areas:

* Customer engineering engagements to define product requirements.
* Computer storage and memory hierarchy.
