1st Shift: 4:00AM to 2:00PM or 6:00AM to 4:00PM

Starting Pay: $17.19

Grindroom Team Member

* Performing the following tasks in the Grindroom
* Supplying meat to the Grindroom from the meat receiving cooler using a pallet jack and transports raw meat to the grinder
* Inspects meat
* Grind meat
* Removes pallets and trash from the grind room
* Operates a metal detector belt and auger

All team members must abide by all of Burkes plant safety rules!

REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (training will be provided)
* Work in temperatures 4050 degrees and 32 degrees in the cooler
* Being able to operate an electric pallet jack (in-house training provided)
* Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced
* Being able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to do repetitive tasks
* Standing, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, stepping up and down
* Operating food processing equipment
* Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
* Fill in for other plant positions as necessary (additional pay provided for higher pay grade position)
* Basic Math skills
* Perform any and all duties as assigned by Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

18 years of age or older and 6 months of work history is required.

Electric pallet jack experience is a plus.
