Honeywell currently has an opening for an RF Engineer in our RF Systems group in our Advanced Technology organization. This position is responsible for supporting the hardware, software, signal processing and data analysis of novel radar systems. Our team conducts research and development in RF system concepts and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Advanced radar development for detection and tracking in degraded visual environments, collision avoidance, doppler navigation, or radar altimetry
* Project activities including requirement analysis, concept design, tradeoff analysis, prototype system development and integration, through flight testing and evaluation
YOU MUST HAVE
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
* 2 years of experience in radar engineering, software and/or hardware
* 2 years of experience using system design tools, e.g., Matlab, C/C++, Python, etc.
* 2 years of hands-on lab experience with radar hardware, RF/Microwave subsystems or assemblies, including testing, measurement, calibration, troubleshooting, etc.
WE VALUE
* Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
* FMCW Radar or Phased Array Radar experience
* RF/analog/digital circuit modeling and design
* Radar waveform design, radar algorithm development
* Experience working on government R&D projects from DARPA, DOD, NASA, Homeland Security or classified U.S. government agencies
