Your Role and Responsibilities
In this exciting position you will conduct high-level analysis of processes, methods, and systems to identify technical inadequacies.

* Select best practices, recommend solutions, and guide improvements to business process activities.
* Facilitates Tier 3 resolution of Help Desk cases.
* 70% of time you will be the Technical Solutions Architect and provide technical evaluation and best practices solutions; process improvements
* 15% of time Tier 3 Case Management and Resolution
* 15% of time Project management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1. Management of and tracking of IT software/systems test management plans
2. Experience leading technical efforts and overseeing all technical work to ensure work is completed with high quality
3. Management of user access and user access control
4. Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing applications, OS, and IP-network issues
5. Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals
6. Knowledge of version control systems like GIT, SVN, Bitbucket, etc.,
7. Troubleshooting or solving user request through JIRA
8. Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery strategies
9. Experience with automated deployment technologies and configuration management systems, especially puppet
10. Experienced with integration/managing Active Directory and LDAP
11. Experience administering web servers and services
12. Experience with enterprise monitoring and management tools
13. Experience administering firewall configurations Previous experience with Python, Perl or Ruby
Clearance: Clearable to GSA 2S

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Proven ability to maintain a 24/7 heterogeneous environment within a DevOps operating model.
* 2. Strong understanding of performance, configuration, incident, and problem management.
* 3. Familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
* 4. Familiarity with FISMA/ Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).
* 5. Knowledgeable of at least one Scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Java, etc.). Strong expertise in Linux (Ubuntu) based systems.
* 6. Knowledge of Configuration Management tools (Chef, Puppet, and Ansible).
* 7. Understand telecommunications contract services in order to be able to design, implement, maintain, and optimize performance of tools and applications in the system.
