Job Description

The Structured Transactions Senior position shall help manage and support re-performing loan securitizations and non-performing whole loan sales. This is done through a combination of diligence analysis, transaction preparation, counterparty negotiation and management of the trade, sale and offering processes.
Our Impact:

The Servicing Capital Markets department is responsible for execution and implementation of a variety of transactions, including (i) servicing transfers accomplished through the execution of Voluntary Partial Cancellations, (ii) whole loan sales accomplished through non-performing loan sales, and (iii) seasoned loan securitizations accomplished through re-performing loan securitizations. These transactions are an important part of Freddie's overall credit risk management and balance sheet strengthening efforts!
Your Impact:

* Work closely on all stages of preparing for whole loan sales and/or mortgage-backed securitizations, including working closely with servicers and preparing and executing transaction timelines.
* Coordinate and manage, under the direction of the Structured Transactions Director, the sourcing of due diligence, and the identification of prospective due diligence issues, and handle these issues through to resolution.
* Coordinate and lead all other servicing-related processes necessary for a successful whole loan sale and/or mortgage-backed securitization.
* Participate in the management of relationships with (i) Freddie Mac internal customers, such as I&CM, Servicing Portfolio Analytics and Operations, (ii) third party vendors such as diligence firms, title companies and BPO providers, and (iii) deal participants such as underwriters and ratings agencies.
* Establish operational objectives and work plans, based upon negotiated contracts/agreements.
* Maintain and execute against detailed project plans.
* Coordinate with the applicable areas within Freddie Mac to ensure that the operational components for each transaction are appropriately considered in a timely manner for each deal type.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
* 2-5 years business management and leadership experience (5 + years business management and/or leadership experience in capital markets related transactions preferred).
* Understanding/familiarity with non-performing residential loan sales.
* Knowledge of GSE servicing requirements.
* Competency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
