Facebook Reality Labs is seeking a Commerce Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end creation and management of monetization campaigns for the App Store. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of ecommerce and pricing/discount strategies, key editorial moments plus an interest in digital apps and games, as well as strong operational and analytical sense. Were looking for someone with systems thinking who can also roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Candidates should have the proven ability to work quickly under pressure, hard deadlines and to work collaboratively with cross functional and global partners. The ideal candidate will have a background in analytics, economics, business with deep experience in online stores and merchandising.
Commerce Manager Responsibilities
* Lead the overall sales campaigns and merchandising strategy to achieve revenue and engagement goals
* Scope opportunities based on market trends and key moments to monetize
* Support business goals through effective site personalization, curation and execution of marketing strategies
* Working with data scientists and engineers to extensively test inventory design, content selection, pricing tiers, and campaign mechanisms to improve campaign performance metrics
* Own project management of promotional events
* set goals, scale and execute to existing plans, execute strategic pricing, and quality assurance of events
* Report, analyze and iterate on results from revenue and sales outcomes
* Create and manage all aspects of monetization campaigns, including: asset creation, price negotiations, exchange-rate management, campaign localization, and more
* Work directly with the Editorial Manager to budget studio resources against engagement and monetization objectives
Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years experience project or program management with a focus on ecommerce
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving teams towards execution
* Experience implementing programs to improve operational performance
* Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
Preferred Qualifications
* Interest in VR content, its culture, and future.
* Background in analytics, economics, or business.
* Analytical and problem-solving experience.
