What you will do:

* Manage and develop area personnel, create, coach and lead teams and ensure personnel are properly trained;

* Assist in the development and implementing action plans to ensure the safe, reliable and cost-effective operation and maintenance of all pipeline related facilities;

* Ensure that all applicable rules, regulations and company procedures are adhered to;

* Develop and communicate goals and objectives and encourage employee participation and feedback;

* Implement appropriate security measures to protect company facilities and property;

* Represent the company at local community meetings, customer or supplier meetings, actively participate in industry and professional associations, participate in internal teams or project task groups;

* Manage O&M (Operation & Maintenance) and capital budgets.

Who you are:

You have the following education and experience:

* Related university degree and eightplus (8+) years experience OR tenplus (10+) years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

* Demonstrated leadership and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 45 amount of pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects 45 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement, grasping, kneeling, light moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
