Job Titles: Outage Millwrights & Turbine M/W- NPPD (Gerald Gentleman Station)

* Millwright

Must be able to take critical measurements with high degree of skill, accuracy, and speed. This skilled person is used for the turbine work, valve work, diesel maintenance and the alignment of other critical equipment and shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in this discipline. A minimum of five (5) years of power plant maintenance or construction work experience including two (2) years of commercial operating fossil power plant experience is desired. Millwright shall be familiar with OSHA rigging requirements and hand signals. Individuals must possess the necessary knowledge and skills to perform all phases of power plant millwright type maintenance including, but not limited to, the following tasks:

* Alignment on steam turbines, auxiliaries, pumps and drives.
* Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
* Disassembly, repair, and reassembly on pumps and drives.
* Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of large circulating water pumps.
* Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of large fans, air-heaters and other large mechanical devices.
* Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of diesel engines.
* Working to written procedures.
* Troubleshooting.

* Turbine Millwright

Must possess the necessary knowledge and skill to perform all phases of power plant millwright-type maintenance including, but not limited to, the following tasks:

* Use and interpret precision measuring equipment.
* Alignment on steam turbines, auxiliaries, pumps and drives.
* Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
* Valve packing.
* Disassembly, repair, and reassembly on all types of valves and operators.
* Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of large circulating water pumps.
* Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of steam turbine auxiliary equipment.
* Working to written procedures.
* Troubleshooting.

Individuals must have the capabilities of a Millwright described above, and in addition, shall have a minimum of five (5) years specific turbine experience, working outages or construction on steam driven turbine generators of 100 MW and larger.

OSHA Requirements (2020-2021)

All craft are required to have OSHA 10 prior to arriving on site. Training can be completed online. Access and codes can be obtained from PPM Site Management.

Per Diem:

Using gsa.ogv rates

Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles using shortest distance calculation. No PD will be paid on days missed.

Per Diem must be verified and we must retain records for audit. Need 2 items (1 from each list below) and must be dated within 60-90 days of start date.

List A

* Utility bill for water, gas, electricity, cable or land line at least 30 days old but no more than 3 months
* Major credit card bill at least 30-days old but no more than 3 months (I suggest we black out account number if someone provides that)
* Mortgage receipt for permanent address within the past 3 months
* Rent receipt for permanent address within the past 3 months

List B

* City, county or other property tax statements within the past 12 months
* DMV vehicle registration
* State or federal tax return (if prepared by someone else, need proof of payment to tax preparer). I suggest we ask for first and last page only - everything needs to be blacked out if they provide it
* Voter registration card
