About the role

We are looking for a software engineer to help build robust and scalable software, improve our system architecture, contribute to brainstorming sessions, supply creative ideas to our technology, algorithms and products, and build relationships with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and deliver results.

NOTE: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this position will be remote until at least June 2020.

Responsibilities

* Be a contributing member of an Agile development team
* Help to architect, build and continuously improve our native Kotlin/Java based Android application https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ebay.mobile&hl=en_US
* Push forward our test focused development process including unit, integration and functional testing

Requirements

* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Able to communicate effectively with others in both spoken and written form
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with distributed teams across multiple timezones
* Have experience shipping Android apps, ideally available on Google Play
