Here's what you can expect as an Analytics Manager at DaVita:
Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing analytical activities to support DaVitas risk-based integrated care programs for chronically ill patients. Under the direction of the Director, Healthcare Economics, this position will develop and expand our overall analytical strategy into new areas and develop tactics and insights essential for performance in our programs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Facilitate the development of key performance indicators in Medicare Advantage and other risk programs

* Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of Medicare and risk-based payment methodologies

* Build complex reports and analyses using multiple data sources, including custom SQL queries; translate findings into actions for operators actions that operators can take

* Organize and provide executive, management, and front-line initiatives and performance reporting and communication. Prepare timely and accurate monthly and annual reporting as required.

* Develop and modify complex SQL queries and other future analytical tools

* Identify and analyze implications of regulatory changes to Medicare and other key areas

* Collaborate effectively with Compliance and Legal teams on policy and regulatory implications for our programs

* Mentor and support a team of technical analysts, including development of their technical skills, QC processes, and career path/professional growth

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or graduate degree in health care field, math, statistics, or other quantitative areas strongly preferred

* Minimum of 3 years of experience with analytics and reporting; healthcare data experience preferred

* Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

* Strong communication skills to work across teams, garner input, and build consensus

* Knowledge of relational database principles including SQL and Microsoft Office software

* Knowledge of statistical and/or quantitative analysis that can be readily applied

* Knowledge of medical claims terminology (CPTs, DRGs, ICD-10, etc.)

* Understanding of health care billing and payment methods

Position Base Range

$75,200 - $110,400

Note: Starting pay will be commensurate with qualifications & experience
