Job Accountabilities

Crown is currently seeking Electrical Maintenance Coordinators at its Lancaster, Ohio Closure facility

Starting pay $24.68 an hour

These are 12-hour swing shift positions

Responsibilities:

* Ensuring optimum electrical operation of manufacturing and facilities equipment by:
* Removing / installing, repairing, servicing, adjusting, calibrating, and maintaining various electrical components
* Malfunctions and locating sources of electrical problems
* Removing / dismantling defective or malfunctioning equipment, components and parts using necessary hand tools, power tools, specialty tools and equipment
* Working to minimize production line downtime by supporting production employees in their efforts to complete scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
* Checking items used for equipment repairs and maintenance out of spare parts storeroom inventory
* Anticipating future needs for spare parts, supplies and components and communicating to purchasing department
* Providing general information on maintenance activity to other maintenance staff, production employees, supervisors, and administrative staff
* Maintaining technical knowledge by attending necessary training, educational workshops, reviewing technical publications and establishing and maintaining professional relationships in the electrical maintenance field.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Acting as a resource for production / manufacturing employees engaged in maintenance activities
* Participating in and supporting continuous improvement efforts, working with and alongside of production / manufacturing employees in the process
* Ensuring that all safety, health, and environmental concerns are considered when doing work and interfacing with EHS to complete documentation of safe work as necessary
* Ensuring that quality policies and procedures (such as but not limited to SQF, GMP, and chemical control) are followed in the performance of job duties and responsibilities
* Traveling (periodically) to receive work related training, meet with vendors, buyoff equipment, visit other Crown facilities, etc.
* Providing on-call response to remedy critical maintenance situations
* Other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
* Two years of electrical / electronic technical training.
* Minimum of 2 years of electrical maintenance experience.
* Knowledge of and basic troubleshooting skills associated with: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Thermal, Kinetic and Potential Energy systems.
* Reading and math skills are required along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
* Basic technical, computer, and analytical skills (from educational background and / or work experience).
* Basic working knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, language, and programming.
* Familiarity with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and MicroLogix control systems is a plus.
* Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
* Basic working knowledge of computerized maintenance management software (Ex: MP2 or equivalent).
* Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
* Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills.
* The ability to engage with employees at all levels of the organization.
* Must be willing to participate in an Electrical Skills Test Device assessment.
Physical Requirements:
* While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
* The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on occasion
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
* The employee must be able to work up to twelve (12) hours shifts, both day and evening
