Job Description

Job Accountabilities

As a key member of our Manufacturing Accounting team, the Staff Accountant plays an integral part in the collection, analysis and reporting of financial data for the Americas Division. Specific duties include the following:
Process & Reconcile Inter-Company shipments and sales. This would include shipments from Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Middle East, Greece and Nampak.
Prepare account reconciliations for major customers such as Coke, Pepsi and Refresco.
Learn the Plant Month End closing process, including:
A. Preparation of journal entries.
B. Analysis and understanding of Plant accounts and Month End results
C. Training and utilization in the use of OneStream to include budgeting, cash flow & financial statement preparation and analysis
Completion of monthly, quarterly and year-end closes
Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Testing.
Special projects and plant audits and reviews.
Working on Month End Beverage reports including critical cost per thousand reports.
Conduct and/or assist with physical inventory observations, reconciliations, and compliance.

Job Requirements

In addition to the qualifications and experience listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

Bachelors degree in Accounting
0-3 years related experience. Manufacturing experience preferred
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with AS/400 System a plus
Available to travel 10% in North America
