Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Food & Nutrition, the Cook prepares, seasons and cooks food for hospital patients, staff, visitors and limited special functions for all ages of the population, pediatric to geriatric. The Cook position adheres to all federal, state and local guidelines governing safe food handling and preparation.

Education:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Experience:
* One or more years experience in hospital or equivalent quantity food preparation is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
* Serv-Safe Food Safety Certification desired.
