Administers, directs and coordinate activities of Health Information Management. Is responsible for the recommendation, development, and implementation of policies and procedures in HIM. Maintains operational aspects of HIM department in collaboration with other service areas.

* Completion of an AHIMA accredited program in Medical Records Management. Minimal two year program, preferred four year.
* Documented experience with coding, abstracting, medical record processing, chart completion, word processing, and spreadsheet software products.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities; minimum 3 years management experience in a hospital setting.
* RHIA, RHIT required.
