Job Description
Compiles and analyzes financial information for Bayfront Health Brooksville and Spring Hill, with a particular focus on Revenue Cycle and Accounting. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Propose policies relating to maintenance and testing of proper internal controls. Devise and recommend new or modified accounting systems to provide complete and accurate financial and statistical reports. Prepares for annual independent financial audit, and self-audits per CHS policy. Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing daily statistics, updating DART revenue model, monthly/quarterly projections, monthly MOR reports, overall ARIBA contract management, management of FA approval process, daily productivity reviews.

Job Summary: The Director of Finance compiles and analyzes financial information for Bayfront Health Brooksville and Bayfront Health Spring Hill, with a particular focus on Revenue Cycle and Accounting. The Director develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Propose policies relating to maintenance and testing of proper internal controls. Devise and recommend new or modified accounting systems to provide complete and accurate financial and statistical reports. Plan, coordinate and prepare for annual independent financial audit, as well as performing self-audits per CHS policy. Regular duties include, but are not limited to, preparing daily statistics, updating the DART revenue model, monthly/quarterly projections, monthly MOR reports, overall ARIBA contract management, management of FA approval process, daily productivity reviews, and other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelors Degree required. Masters degree preferred
Experience: 3-5 years G/L experience required. Proficient in data transfer and database operations in a computerized environment. Familiar with Medicare regulations, Focus Arrangement/Legal process. Healthcare experience preferred. Proficient in PC spreadsheet applications. Thorough knowledge of Healthcare Audit Guide and GAAP.
Licenses/Certifications: CPA preferred
