Your Opportunity
The Digital Messaging technology team is looking for a Lead Release Train Engineer/Project Manager Lead to join our teams. This RTE is responsible for facilitating planning and driving delivery of business value through implementation of scaled agile practices, management of risks and dependencies, and ongoing collaboration with the Development teams, Product Owners and other key stakeholders.

What you are good at

* Establish and fully execute PI Planning across 4-8 scrum teams, including all pre, post, and during ceremony preparation and execution.
* Establish processes and artifacts for creating, tracking, and delivering PI Objectives, product and technology roadmaps, risks and dependencies, and other critical initiatives/outcomes.
* Blend knowledge and experience as an RTE and scaled agile with program and project management skills. This position is 70% RTE and 30% Program/Project Manager.
* Establish and run Scrum of Scrum ceremonies and other cross-organizational meetings needed for planning, execution, and delivery.
* Build agile and scrum maturity across the release train by coaching scrum masters, aligning to metrics and standards, and driving continuous improvement. Youll also provide coaching to tech and product teams and will be the subject matter expert for all things agile and scrum.
* Ensure alignment with broader Schwab standards, guidelines, and objectives for agile delivery.
* Drive continuous improvement via inspect and adapt practices; foster an environment of learning, growth, and transparency.
* Work closely across development, product, production support, and stakeholder teams to ensure outcomes are delivered. Your role is a very senior role at Schwab, and you will need to work effectively in a highly matrixed, collaborative organization with little oversight.

What you have

* Bachelors degree with 4+ years of RTE experience and 8+ years of scrum master / project manager experience
* Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework environment facilitating PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums ceremonies is required. Experience with starting or creating these processes and ceremonies from the ground-up is preferred.
* Strong problem solving and the ability to partner with Software Development leadership, Product Owners, Business Leaders, and other key stakeholders across the organization. You will do this naturally and will navigate across many technology, business, and product stakeholders and partners with little oversight and manager guidance.
* Dedication to the client experience and the stability and reliability of production environments.
