Job Description
User Interface Designer, Senior
Key Role:
Lead and support client engagements for UX/UI design capability by conceptualizing and creating large-scale digital experiences and applications. Engage with designated SMEs and teams directly to clearly articulate client needs and requirements into industry-leading digital designs, including identifying and prioritizing project milestones and processes. Contribute in a hands-on environment by directly producing industry-leading design artifacts, including mentoring fellow designers. Assist with team leadership and help with delivery-related activities, including staffing, forecasts, estimates, and deliverables quality. Provide active contribution to business development activities, including strengthening client relationships and identifying new opportunities, proposal responses, and various Agile development activities.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with User-Centered design
-Experience with working in cross-functional, agile teams to craft digital solutions that meet business objectives
-Experience with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development
-Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, wireframing and prototyping tools, including Axure or Sketch, InVision, front-end frameworks, including Foundation, Bootstrap, or Bourbon and Bourbon Neat, Version Control, including GitHub or SVN, and content management systems, including WordPress or Drupal
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with designing and coding responsive Web sites
-Experience with designing mobile applications
-Industry Recognized Usability Certifications
