RF Modelling and Simulation Engineer
The Challenge:
Designing and developing Radio Frequency (RF) based systems requires construction of detailed models to ensure antennas and sensors can operate in the given environment and communications links can action usable data in a timely fashion. In this role, you will provide RF modeling and simulation (M&S) support and subject matter expertise to Army clients trying to address emerging threats to our forces. Conduct literature reviews, analysis studies, validation studies, and product comparisons. Help define the technical path forward for the near- and long-term implementation of our client's RF capabilities.
You Have:
* Experience with RF propagation models and analysis software
* Experience with importing and refining geometry, including terrain and buildings in analysis software
* Experience with presenting research findings to a client and describing the impact of predicted performance
* Knowledge of the state of the art in computational electromagnetic modeling
* Ability to accurately simulate RF performance in complex scenarios and quantify the error
* Secret clearance
* BA or BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics
Nice If You Have:
* TS/SCI clearance
Clearance:
