Java J2EE Developer, Mid

This role is more than just coding. We need a developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor junior teammates. Using Scrum life cycle development, Java, and web-based federal environments, youll work with the development team to increase efficiency and effectiveness of contract processing, build IT resilience, and reduce risk from supporting outdated technologies. Youll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution youre developing considers the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

* 4+ years of experience in developing with Core Java, Servlet and JSPs, Spring MVC, Mybatis, Hibernate ORM, SQL Queries, MySQL and Oracle database, JBoss or Tomcat Application Server, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, HTML/CSS, or Bootstrap
* Experience with requirements, design, implementation, integration, or testing
* Knowledge of the life cycle process for software development with the latest technologies
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

* Experience with working with the Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira or Confluence
* Experience with working in a cloud environment
* Experience with DevSecOps, including automating the deployment of applications using Jenkins, Git/Github, or Artifactory
* Possession of excellent analytical and technical writing skills
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
