Human Resources Recruiting Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as a member of the client's recruitment team and engage with client staff to source applicants to efficiently and effectively fill open positions. Develop and maintain contacts with various employment sources to meet the client's staffing requirements for professional-level employees. Participate in the client's staff planning activities and interview managers to determine hiring needs. Research new ways of using the internet for recruitment and work with the client to implement and execute a recruitment plan that uses social media, job sites, job fairs, and recruitment events. Determine applicant qualifications by comparing job descriptions and applicant resumes. Maintain candidate files, both electronic and hard-copy and track candidate status and progress through the hiring process. Collect and analyze recruitment and hiring metrics and report them to the client.

Basic Qualifications:

* 6+ years of experience with HR, strategic human capital, or recruiting
* Experience with managing an applicant tracking system or recruiting systems and databases
* Experience with coordinating team participation in external job fairs and internal recruiting events
* Experience with sourcing and reviewing resumes
* Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, or PowerPoint and internet search engines
* Experience in consulting with DoD or intelligence community (IC) clients
* TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
* BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

* Ability to convey a professional and positive image to associates, job applicants, and vendors
* Ability to communicate effectively with associates, job applicants and vendors, through face-to-face, phone, and email communications both verbally and in writing
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities and timelines
* Ability to leverage analytical and critical thinking expertise, including analyzing problems, conducting research, and evaluating options for action
* Possession of excellent consulting and client relationship skills
* BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Communications

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
