To enable Biogen iBPM transformation, we are seeking technically strong, motivated and passionate individuals who can be part of a team that would build, enhance, operate and manage these turn key solutions for a variety of use cases. Ideal candidate would bring in an innovation and continuous process improvement mindset and ability to skillfully craft solutions leveraging various intelligent automation technologies with a iBPMS & Low Code Development focus to achieve target business outcomes.

* Architect & Design End to End Solutions using Enterprise Low Code Platforms such as Appian
* Work with stakeholders upstream & downstream (project planning & initiation phase as well as delivery phase) to define initiatives, scope, plan, and objectives to ensure appropriate delivery budget planning & resourcing
* Participate in the Platform Strategy Development and Operations Collaborate with vendor for solution development and Delivery of Enterprise Components
* Research, implementation of new product features, functionality with customer prototyping, pilots
* Provide oversight and support as needed working with 3rdparty teams for problem investigation & resolution
* Develop CI/CD structure for optimal DevOps model
* Develop and enforce policies & standards to ensure quality of solution
* Ensure optimal utilization of the platform across the enterprise
* Participate in JAD sessions with various stakeholders for solution development
* Transition solutions, once delivered, to the technical support team for ongoing support and maintenance
* Take Accountability for overall iBPMs, Low Code Automation Platform Architecture, Performance and Service Delivery of the Platform
* Provide oversight, support and mentorship for junior developers and technical support teams
* Ensure alignment of solution to the overall platform strategy
* Staying current with technology trends in the intelligent automation space

Analyzing: Assess and document platform composition and condition, identify stakeholders and expectations on run (i.e., operations), exploit (e.g., requests) and new and current projects and issues.

Defining: Define and develop the platform roadmap, including relevant performance measures, addressing current issues and challenges, future plans for changes and opportunities for improvement.

Engaging: Proactively socialize the platform roadmap with business functions using the platform and with other platform, process and partnership managers across IT. Collect feedback for improvement, ensure alignment and coordination, and avoid redundancy or conflicting demands.

Operating: Execute on the platform roadmap, actively manage the platform as a set of interconnected assets, and manage cross-platform dependencies. Present financial show back and planning associated with platform roadmaps.

Evaluating: Assess the health and operational performance of the platform against established metrics. Achieve and improve operational service metrics and/or targets associated with platforms.

Improving: Identify and realize opportunities to increase the value of the platform by extending cost-effective use and/or reducing platform costs through rationalization, consolidation, streamlining, and price negotiation.

Translating: Understand business functions strategy and effectively translate strategy into opportunities and requirements for technology solutions.

Anticipating/Influencing: Proactively anticipate business needs to shape demand for IT services.

Strategic Planning: Develop functional roadmaps that are aligned with functions strategy and priorities.

Developing/Managing Relationships: Engage and develop relationships with the right functional partners (e.g., Functional Steering Committees) and subject matter experts. Manage and build trust in these relationships.

Integrating: Integrate roadmaps developed by other enabling IT functions with business partners to align IT capabilities with functional demand for IT services.

Advocating: Advocate for partners with IT colleagues as needed/appropriate. In turn, drive awareness and adoption of IT initiatives and changes driven by all IT organizations including IT functional portfolios and foundational organizations (I&O, CISO, DEA, PBO).

Actively Driving: Actively drive projects and ensure alignment on all project details: objectives, scope, approach, deliverables, financials, schedule, dependencies and risks.

Engaging Stakeholders: Proactively manage IT and functional stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and Steering Committees to ensure accountability and drive value.

Managing Risks/Tradeoffs: Articulate key risks, dependencies, and scope tradeoffs within and across functions and effectively mitigate risks/tradeoffs by identifying and driving changes to approach, timeline, budget, or scope.

Communicating: Clearly communicate project status, schedule, risks, issues, and changes/resolutions keeping all stakeholders involved and informed on a regular basis.

Upholding Processes: Follow and uphold required and expected processes including regulatory compliance standards and provide input to improve processes.

DPA Appian Focus Solution Engagements

Qualifications

* Appian Designer Level 2 Certification
* Expertise with Appian 19.x with Designer level certification is preferred
* Exposure connecting Appian applications to external SaaS applications using Integration with REST APIs is a must.
* 5+ years experience working in iBPMs and Low code technologies
* Hands on experience with at least one of the programming languages like JavaScript, Java, C, Python etc.
* Hands on experience with at least one of the development frameworks such as node.js or .Net
* Strong Understanding of Database technologies and SQL
* Experience with database design concepts, middleware concepts, user interface development, and information security engineering
* Working knowledge of Robotic Process Automation
* Good understanding of Cloud and Cognitive computing
* In depth understanding of different API based integration mechanisms such as REST, SOAP and data formats such as JSON, XML
* Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
* Bachelors degree preferably with a Computer Science Major and 7+ Years relevant experience

Ideal Candidate Profile

* At least 3 - 5 full lifecycle development and implementation of Apps in Appian
* Experience working with Appian Cloud preferred
* Demonstrates Excellent Analytical and Problem solving skills
* Wears the UX hat as needed while developing solutions for end users
* Good understanding of Service Delivery Functions
* Good understanding and working experience of Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment models
* Exposure to SDLC processes within Life Sciences or similar highly regulated industry

Minimum Knowledge Requirements:

Bachelors degree preferably with a Computer Science Major and 7+ Years relevant experience.
