Job Description

The Director of Real Estate Administration will manage the Real Estate Committee Meeting process, real estate transaction approval process, the real estate transaction pipeline, real estate data systems, manage the critical date process, and the communication system between the Store leadership and the real estate department.

Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

* Organize and coordinate the Real Estate Committee process and ensure that all materials are submitted timely, organized in the proper format
* Own and drive the real estate transaction approval process, managing all necessary approval documents and information, and managing the flow of information between the Real Estate and Legal departments
* Manage the integration of Tango to the Real Estate Department. Further responsible for ongoing utilization of Tango, Buxton, TAS, Excel, and other resources to extract data to effectively present real estate transaction.
* Manage the critical date process including create all necessary reports, tracking and highlighting all at risk stores
* Produce a weekly status report reflecting the status of all transactions including new stores, relocation, lease modifications agreements, and performance against goals.
* Track the progress of transactions through the pipeline and recommend changes to processes and procedures to improve the velocity and quality of transactions.
* Partner with Real Estate Directors, Real Estate Attorneys, senior Store leadership, Construction, Finance and Store Development to inform investment recommendation
* Support the Fleet Review process
* Create and manage a communication system between the Store leadership and Real Estate to obtain information on co-tenancy, sign opportunities, and shopping center conditions.
* Liaison between Real Estate and Lease Accounting regarding co-tenancy issues
* Manage special abstracting processes as the use of Tango is expanded and bring all abstracts up to current requirements
* Support leadership and cross-functional business partners with timely, accurate, actionable tracking

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in real estate finance, economics, or related field
* 7+ years of experience in retail real estate with a retailer or a landlord.
* Real estate research/analytics background a plus
* Retail background a plus

Skills and Behaviors:

* Intermediate level user of WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and ADOBE CREATIVE
* Experience with Tango or similar real estate administration platform,
* Experience with TAS, Buxton or similar
* Knowledge of retail leases and financial modeling
* Strong analytical, problem solving, organization, and verbal and written communication skills
* Strong sense of accountability and ownership
* Ability to build strong working relationships with business partners across the organization
* Ability to work towards multiple deadlines with shifting priorities
* Excellent time management and organization skills
* Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
* Team player with a positive attitude
