Job Description
Install and maintain self-contained electric meters energized up to 240 volts in the shop and on customer premises.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS are listed below:
1) Read meters as required for field order and on schedule for cycle billing
2) Install, remove, change disconnect, and reconnect meters
3) Test singlephase, network, and polyphase self-contained meter for proper operation and accuracy
4) Program meters
5) Perform Credit and Collections related order including disconnect and reconnect for non-payment
6) Investigate irregular usage
7) Investigate energy diversion
8) Repair meters, meter sockets, and meter enclosures
9) Order, receive, ship, store, and inventory meter and associated equipment
10) Investigate self-contained service power quality problems, install event recorders, neutral testers, and produce reports
11) Perform work from ladders and elevated platforms
Minimum Requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education requirements are listed below:
* Associates Degree in electrical/electronic technology
