You’ll be responsible for defining the enterprise sales strategy and heading its strategic execution as you focus on driving long term company revenue by securing cross-border partnerships. You will do this by developing and implementing a mature sales enablement function. This function will centrally design, implement, and manage all sales training, budgeting, planning, forecasting & pipeline management across all partnerships within the business with a specific focus on Financial Institutions. You will introduce standard processes, new ways of working for all teams interacting with Financial Institutions by creating a robust set of best practices focused on revenue growth and customer end user experience. Your role will also set sales targets and forecasting, including the creation of a modernized sales compensation framework. As you establish an enterprise partnership engagement process for the entire sales cycle this will create a “one company” to financial institutions. In the long term, you will grow the number of products and solutions supported by your team to truly transform Western Unions sales capabilities.

For this role, you will need to have experience directly leading a large sales enablement function, preferably within financial services and for a large global organization. Experience in having led this from a banking environment is highly desirable. You’ll need to have a proven track record in implementing significant evolution in a sales enablement function or building a large sales enablement function from the ground up. Having a deep fintech product management expertise within innovation, agile API ecosystems is also crucial.
