Fiservs Technology Analyst Program is an early career development program where candidates experience two one-year assignments in a core functional role within the firm. Each assignment builds upon the other and together will provide a breadth of experience unique in the business worldand unique to you! As a part of the Corporate Analyst Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in complex projects that can have a significant impact on the business while strengthening the skills vital to lead in the FinTech industry. Training curriculum, mentoring, on the job learning and exposure to senior leadership will be offered in these entry-level opportunities with the ability to advance within our company upon completion of the two-year program.
About the Role:
Delivery Enablement and Acceleration Labs (DEAL) mission statement is To accelerate the global deployment, adoption and operationalization of transformative new technologies and solutions for any market at any scale. Our team looks at the new technologies across all the platforms to design the best solutions for Fiserv and our clients.
The New Technologies Engineer will be responsible for:
* Developing tooling, documentation, functional product transformations through the use of new technologies.
* Creation of comprehensive training, governance, and enablement programs for legacy development teams.
* Engineering Analyst position will work with the latest technologies in the marketplace, and assist the team in building an enterprise template for product transformations for such technologies as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.
Cloud transformation requires expertise in Java and/or .NET, along with some experience in cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred. A high degree of collaboration with Development and other IS teams is required to design effective training/governance programs, and align roadmaps for execution planning. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, will be forward thinking, will be self-motivated, and will be able join a diverse, highly talented team, continuously striving for excellence.
Required Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
* 3.0+ GPA
* Proficiency in Java and/or .NET
* Knowledge of public/private cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) a plus
* Experience in Automation/Continuous Integration (Salt, Fabric, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.) a plus
* Experience in Concurrent Versioning Software (Git, GitHub) a plus
* Experience in Confluence wiki creation or training documentation a plus
* MS Office skills especially Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint
