What does a great Technical Support Specialist do?

With Clover, these businesses can run thousands of transactions, access reports on a dashboard remotely and handle their inventory through a single solution. Clover replaces cash registers, terminals, receipt printers, label printers and barcode scanners. It allows businesses to read Chip and PIN cards, swipe credit cards and process Apple Pay and other mobile payment apps. Clover has sold over one million devices to restaurants and shops all over the worldand probably in your own neighborhood. In this role, you can expect to:
* Build a plan and take charge in situations where others feel lost. If you excel at figuring out logic puzzles and logistics challenges outside of work, such as organizing sports tournaments or planning long road trips with multiple destinations, then we want to hear from you!

* Solve customers problems and help them get back to managing their business as quickly and easily as possible. You will do this on the phone with small business owners most of the day.

* Take ownership of customers issues, relieving customers stress while guiding them to a quick and easy resolution.
* Solve the current customer concern, and actively identify and solve any lurking complications the they may encounter.
* Share insights with peers and management our positive team culture relies on open communication to continuously improve how our work gets done.

Basic requirements for consideration:
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime when needed
* Knowledge of technical support issues related to Internet connectivity and troubleshooting experience
* Ability to handle complaints and unpleasant customers
* 1+ years in a service oriented capacity
Desired Skills
* Experience in a Technical/Troubleshooting Support role or similar call service center
* Familiarity with performance requirements Voice of the Customer, Quality, Schedule Adherence, etc.
* Some experience with multiline telephones and online noting systems
* Associates Degree or higher in Information Technology or related field
