What does a great Senior Quality Assurance Analyst do?

The Testing Center of Excellence provides quality assurance services to our Development and Business counterparts. Our coverage includes functional, automation and performance testing activities, as well as tool support and metrics generation. We leverage leading technologies and processes to achieve comprehensive test coverage and release level reporting. Our products range from internal to consumer facing to business-oriented applications.

Provide technical investigation, updates and progress to project team and management. Automate tests for new features using existing automation framework. Assist with the execution of testing for all system components, including functional and integration testing. Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases, document test cases and generate reports; accountable for all software quality related metrics. Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology. Ability to work within an agile methodology on scrum team to coordinate testing; participate in dialog with developers in discussing current and proposed architecture, defects enhancements and other issues. Define test objectives, write and execute test cases and test scenarios to ensure that software products meet design specifications and quality measurements, update and modify existing test procedures as necessary.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst do you can look forward to:

Functional:

* Manages several projects simultaneously. Understands and communicates the scope of testing required to meet the needs of the project or desired business capabilities.
* Reviews and approves test plans. Assists with managing post-design scope changes and resolving issues throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Builds a knowledge base or proficiency framework on the test team(s) and applications and acquire subject matter expertise on the overall line of business pertaining to the test team(s).
* Analyzes and prioritizes defects based upon business and programming specifications.

Technical:

* Performs testing activities to include: planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging and reporting tasks. Leads, develops, monitors, and executes test activities for large sized projects.
* Provides guidance to team members on the scripting and execution activities to accomplish the test plan and design requirements.
* Researches new tools and testing approaches, and executes upon/monitoring the implementation of such items.
* Post execution activities include error debugging, reporting needs and internal and external communications.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

* B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
* 5+ years of related quality assurance testing experience
* Experience in with Automation testing tools: TOSCA, Selenium Based Frameworks (WAF, PAF)
* Mobile device testing experience
* IBMz Mainframe tool knowledge
* Must have payment domain experience, especially debit or debit networks

Preferred Qualifications for Considerations:

* Online and batch processing both input and outputs
* Mainframe 3270 host supporting an array of applications that allow customer service and payment processing.
* Simulator authorization tool usage Paragon/ASTREX
* SQL Query
* OS: Windows, MAC IOS; Servers: Linux, Unix; Database: Oracle 11g;
* Test Management: JIRA, qTest, Confluence, Microsoft Office, SharePoint
