The selected individuals will assure all production activities are conducted in a safe, responsible and environmentally sound manner in compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. This includes:
* Maintaining, controlling and monitoring process equipment following standard operating procedures
* Troubleshooting process problems as necessary and performing minor maintenance
* Staying abreast of process changes and communicating status at shift turnover meetings
* Taking samples and performing minor analytical tests, monitoring the results of the samples and taking corrective actions if necessary
* Recording process and production data according to departmental requirements
* Supporting supervisors and engineers to troubleshoot problems and enhance production, quality and safety
* Staying up-to-date on computer software and equipment (PRoVOX, Delta-V, SAP and Outlook)
Required Skills:
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to excel in a team environment while working with minimal supervision
* Must be knowledgeable of safety and environmental processes and procedures
In addition to the above requirements, all external candidates must meet the following:
* Successful completion of a physical assessment
* Must be able to wear a respirator
* Must be able to repeatedly climb and descend stairs/ladders of up to eight stories
* Must be able to work rotating shifts that include weekends
Required Experience:
* 3 years manufacturing experience or a 2 year degree in a related field
* Chemical processing background preferred
