The Title Technician Production Operations Microbiology is responsible for Setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. This position belongs to Microbiology Operating Company nested within Beckman Coulter and is located in West Sacramento. At Microbiology, our vision is to ensure we that every patient has access to the right antibiotic at the right time as one of the leading ID/AST companies. You will be an integral part of the Operations team and report to the Supervisor of Operations for Microbiology.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

The essential requirements of the job include:

* You have experience in adhering to and following safety and operational procedures in an FDA, ISO and related regulatory environment
* Attention to detail and Quality Oriented
* You love to display your flexibility and multi-tasking to contribute to team success
* Ability to operate forklift
* Able to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a manufacturing/packaging environment standing for extended periods of time, lifting to 50-75lbs, and wearing PPE.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

* Lean manufacturing
* Kaizen
* Pharmaceutical, Aseptic, or packaging
* High Volume Printing
* Working Night shifts
