The Portfolio Management & Investment Oversight Team is a function within Independent Risk Management IT Program Delivery Office (IT PDO) accountable for supporting the effective delivery of the Information Technology solutions to enable risk processes. This central team support the works for the entire Risk Management franchise, in close partnership with owners of the risk processes and the Global Function Technology.
The mandate, scope and objectives of the Portfolio Management and Investment Oversight Team function include:
* Management and oversight of Risk Technology Investment Process and budget review for the Risk Management franchise
* End-to-end project management for the delivery of the Risk Information Technology Book of Work from review and prioritization of technology funding requests through to user acceptance testing, and release management
* Management of a central team to cross-skill resources and allow for flexible staffing across risk stripes and projects as needed
VP, Business Architect & Transformation Lead Analyst, Portfolio Management and Investment Oversight
The VP of Portfolio Management and Investment Oversight Team, reports to the Head of Portfolio Management and Investment Oversight for Risk IT Program Delivery Office. S/He is responsible for the Risk Group project management governance operation.
Responsibilities:
* Manages the PMO governance function ensuring programs are managed by in-business project management pursuant to be in compliance with CPMC requirements.
* Supports the technical maintenance of the Project Management governance process, continuing automation enhancement in collaboration with the PM Tools team, especially for the incremental process enhancement of standardized reporting and review.
* Analyzes data across Citi-wide Key Initiatives, Risk Management Key Initiatives, Business Key Initiatives, and regulatory driven initiatives within the Risk Management and beyond.
* Leads Book of Work (BoW) reviews with business groups and health checks; enforces program and project management governance guidelines and follows up on exceptions; escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate.
Qualifications:
* Requires a Bachelors degree in Project Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely Provides reporting and analysis in clear, concise communications; prepares presentation decks using executive messaging techniques.
* 5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as an IT Business Analyst, Project Manager, PM Analyst, or closely related position.
* Full term of work experience must include managing a wide scope of stakeholders, well-honed relationship management skills, excellent written and verbal communication; and effective organization skills.
* Architect and execute executive reporting trends and analytics - experience with reporting at appropriate levels (team, client, executive) - has the ability to recap and articulate key messages Experience with Citi PM Standards, Tools and Reporting - experience as a Project Manager preferred.
* Must be a self-motivated, self-starter who can independently handle tasks with little oversight.
* Ability to builds strong client relationships / business partnership
* Knowledge of the Citi PM Policy and Citi PM Standards and prior experience in MRA remediation and regulatory interaction preferred.
* Power user of: Power BI, PowerPoint, Word; Excel; additional IT data process and database skill is a plus.
