Job Description

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Lead the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of distributed systems and real-time data processing solutions for Citis Banking, Capital Market and Advisory organization. Analyze, review, code and alter applications to increase operating efficiency and adapt Citis applications to new requirements. Drive design, development, testing and deployment aspect of computer systems deliverables. Develop applications, provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis to define problems, and develop innovative solutions. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and costs estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business or user needs. Be an integral part of all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation, as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, System Analysts, Consultant or closely related position, serving financial institutions. 5 years of experience must include: Requirements and system analysis, design, hands-on development and deployment testing; Designing, developing and troubleshooting program routines and reusable components; Ability to develop program routines and reusable components on Java; Designing and implementing models and applications; and Banking and financial domains and ability to apply such in information systems solutions. 1 year of experience must include: Data structure, data sets, data pipeline and processing for big data; and Ability to develop program routines and reusable components on Python.
