This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am - 5:00pm CST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 115 W. Wausau, WI

UMR Financial Special Services position is responsible for remitting vendor payments on behalf of our customers in a timely and accurate manner for medical and ancillary products. This position will interact with a number of functions and areas including Cost Reduction Savings (CRS), State Surcharges, Stop Loss, and Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM). This position will also include working with new business implementations, and will include quality assurance and audit activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

The following duties cover what are generally believed to be principal and essential functions of the job. Specific circumstances may allow or require some people assigned to the job to perform a somewhat different combination of duties.
Process Vendor Payments weekly, monthly, and annually.

* Responsible for running databases.
* Retrieving invoices, researching payments, and applying credits.
* Respond to any customer inquiries.
* Reconcile vendor payments.
* Perform quality assurance and audits of vendor payment activities.
* Manage a book of business (Vendors) on a continuous basis.
* Must be adaptive and agile in constant changing environment.
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
* Good mathematical skills.
* Work closely with Offshore Exceeds processors
* Must have the ability to prioritize and pay attention to details.

Required Qualifications:

* An education level of at least a High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent years of working experience
* 3+ years experience in Accounts Receivable or Billing experience.
* Previous experience working with Microsoft Excel creating formulas and Pivots
* Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system application
* You will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's US Telecommuting Policy
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

* 4+ years higher education in Accounting field or equivalent experience

Soft Skills:

* Experience navigating databases
* Good analytical skills
* Good Communication skills
* Ability to handle large volume of daily transactions
* Ability to work accurately and effectively to meet deadlines
* Willingness to work effectively with others
* Ability to work with minimum supervision

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.19.
