Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisors instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for being respirator trained and fit tested for formaldehyde application. They are responsible for monitoring incubators/incubation, traying eggs, and weekend cleaning/sanitation. The lead may be trained to operate a forklift to move or unload equipment etc. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to perform all job duties to standard within 20 days. Must be able to stand for entire shift. Must observe all required hygiene and safety procedures at all times. Job requires bending, lifting, twisting, & turning. Must have worked 6 months out of the last 12 months. If an applicant meets Tysons minimum requirements for consideration of 6 months employment out of the last 12, they may be contacted for an interview.
