SUMMARY
The Revenue Management & Operations team is seeking a Senior Manager, Terms Compliance Management who will be an outstanding addition to our team. As a Senior Manager, Terms Compliance Management at Hulu, you will focus your attention in three key areas: terms and conditions negotiation, terms and condition implementation and compliance management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Support Sales leads in the negotiation of T&Cs with agency/advertiser leads
* Consult with P&P vertical leads in streamlining agency-wide business T&Cs across all DAS brands & business verticals to develop a deep understanding of opening position and fall back positions in negotiation
* Coordinate with internal teams, including Ad Operations, Research and Marketing, to push key business targets/process requirements into annual agreements
* Coordinate and consult with Ad Sales Legal, Collections, and Corporate Privacy teams to address any inconsistencies between business terms & governance terms, and ensure that all terms are executed and agreed upon
* Address client-specific terms, including benefits or special exceptions, that may differ from the broader agency partnership
* Document and report status of terms negotiation and agreement, track deliverables, and hold various relevant parties accountable for delivery
* Develop and maintain company standard terms for use in cases where agency/advertiser terms dont apply or exist
* Lead P&P efforts in templating, synergizing, and updating agency/vertical ratecards around T&Cs
* Educate Sales, P&P, and Operations teams around annual T&Cs agreements and strategy
* Summarize T&Cs agreements on key points across the organization and serve as the advisor to all terms questions assessing impact from proposed business or technology changes
* Partner with P&Ps Execution & Development team to surface operational gaps as it relates to T&Cs implementation & compliance that may require additional training efforts with current/new hires
* Collaborate with Sales and P&P leads to ensure agency/client parameters are accurately implemented into SalesForce/SalesHub/Operative
* Partner with Ad Product, Analytics & Business Enablement in driving system improvements that will improve the accuracy & efficiency of terms reporting
* Monitor trends in digital advertising and proactively incorporate new concepts into agreements with advertisers
* Supervise the end to end IO workflow and approvals process to identify gaps or inefficiencies
* Handle our third party MediaMint relationship in order to drive the efficiency of the IO review process
* Lead resolution of all MediaMint exception escalations as it relates to terms and ensure other escalations are routed appropriately through the organization
* Serve as primary point of contact for P&P during Audits, and Operate as the Control Owner for all P&P controls related to IOs, Terms, and Ratecards ensuring compliance for all audits (Management Audits, SOX Audits, etc.), in partnership with Ad Sales Finance
WHAT TO BRING
* A minimum of 7+ years working in a digital advertising capacity, with a focus on operations, reporting and analytics preferred
* At least 3 years digital management or digital operations experience
* Experience working within a national sales organization
* A proven understanding of online ad products, ad serving capabilities, philosophies and drawbacks
* Experienced Excel & PowerPoint user
* Experience working with Salesforce & Operative1
* Ability to present complicated concepts and ideas in an easy to understand format
* Proactive and engaging, with a positive approach towards problem-solving
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured and dynamic environment
