Job Summary:

Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) brings together the Companys best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams together into one global organization. DMED is responsible for the P&L management and all distribution, network and engineering operations, sales, advertising, data, and certain key technology functions worldwide for the Companys content engines. DMED also manages operations of the Companys streaming services including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+ Hotstar; and domestic broadcast and cable television networks.
The Sports Brand Solutions group is a team of experts that provide creative marketing sponsorship and integration opportunities across ESPNs vast content portfolio. The team is responsible for the sponsorship process including, but not limited to, strategy, ideation, and execution.

The primary function of the team is to generate and maximize revenue across our robust multimedia programming, working closely with Disney Ad Sales, ESPN Production/Programming, and Advertisers.
The Senior Manager, Sports Brand Solutions, will be responsible for supporting our sponsorship business specifically for the NBA, as well as ESPN Films, ESPN+, and select special initiatives.

In this effort, the individual will have core job functions that include but are not limited to the below:
* Be an expert on key property/sport assignments (e.g. NBA, ESPN Films, ESPN+)
* Collaborate and lead efforts with Production/Edit/Programming/PR/Asset Management/etc. to build general and custom opportunities across multimedia platforms
* Pitch sponsorships both internally and externally with clients
* Manage the sales relationship with the NBA
* Integrate within the property assignment verticals within Sports Brand Solutions
* Communicate sales strategy
* Develop general and custom sales materials leveraging research and case studies to enhance sales efforts
* Prepare and manage sales obligations
* Manage sales deliverables and timelines across purview

Responsibilities:

* Manage Property Assignment (everyday responsibilities)
* Produce Sales Opportunities
* Build consensus among stakeholders for ideation process (Management, Legal, PR, Studios, Producers, etc.)
* Manage development and execution of cross-platform deals
* Manage activation process (timelines, approvals, shoots, post-production, etc.)
* Idea generation & creation of pitch materials (RFP and proactive)
* Attend client meetings to pitch ideas

* Lead Multisport RFPs
* Lead the team and run point on ideation tied to multisport RFPs
* Develop materials for sales to respond to client
* Present ideas to both internal sales and client
* Manage post sale execution (timelines, branded content filming, etc.)

* Develop and Communicate Strategy (seasonal and on-demand responsibilities)
* Develop sales materials (e.g. Pre-season Pitch Decks, Case Studies, etc)
* Join NBA/ESPN Films/ESPN+ Sales Meetings and Sports Brand Solutions meetings to present materials

* Manage Relationship with the NBA
* Cultivate relationship with NBA to drive joint sponsorship opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

* Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GoogleDocs
* Minimum of 6 years of marketing or sponsorship preferred
* Highly organized, time management skills, ability to multi-task
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Team player with the desire to do whatever it takes
* Willingness to work flexible hours and/or occasional travel
