Here at The TJX Companies we have an exciting opportunity to join our Solution Delivery team as a Software Engineer responsible for the continued roll out and configuration of our Warehouse Management Systems. This is a great opportunity for an engineer that is looking for the opportunity develop their career as part of a collaborative team supporting an enterprise based solution.

Responsibilities include:

* Develop new features and services that are low level of complexity working with the product/platform/infrastructure/security team.
* Design, code, test, deploy & support working software / technology components, working collaboratively with architects and other engineers.
* Build systems and services that have immediate iact for our business.
* Create, Estimates, Design, Code, COTS configuration for the required business feature.
* Responsible for code analysis, debugging, review and execution of unit / integration tests. Create test automation scripts.
* Responsible for delivering clean, secure, performant code / technology component that meets all the non-functional requirements.
* Responsible for achieving operational excellence as part of delivering feature.
* May act in Lead Engineer capacity for small to medium initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues.
* Sets up application jobs, creates test data, and supports deployment, all at a low level of complexity.
* Adheres to Sarbanes Oxley compliance and all TJX Company standards as applicable.
* Fully Owns Stories. Co-owns features with strong guidance. Takes initiative through asking questions & learning.
* Actively participates in Development process definitions, best practices and standards.

Requirements

* 1-3 years Engineering experience in relevant technical domain
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain
* Knowledge of & experience of at least 1 of each: programming language (e.g. Java, C etc.), scripting language (Javascript, powershell, bash etc.) & database query language (SQL etc.).
* Knowledge of & experience in Computer Algorithms and Programming.
* Foundational knowledge of Software Design & Architecture.
* Foundational knowledge of DevSecOps best practices.
* Sound technical foundation to design and implement basic business functionality
* Ability to adapt easily to changing requirements and priorities
* Assumes responsibility for providing a high level of customer service and takes personal accountability for outcomes
* Moderate knowledge of Package Applications and Supporting Technologies
